BC Eco Industrial Services Okanagan Area BC Eco Industrial Services is seeking an experienced Mainline Excavator Operator for a remote project located north of Terrace, British Columbia.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Operate mainline excavators safely and efficiently in a remote project environment
- →Perform trenching, ditching, grading, and material handling as required
- →Work closely with ground crews, supervisors, and other equipment operators
- →Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
- →Maintain production while adhering to all safety and environmental standards
- →Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor direction
- →Adapt to changing ground conditions, weather, and operational priorities
- →Uphold BC Eco and Sutherland Group safety expectations at all times
Requirements
~1 min read- Proven experience operating mainline excavators on civil, pipeline, or heavy industrial projects
- Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and ground conditions
- Experience working in remote or rotational project environments
- Ability to work 11–12 hour shifts for extended rotations
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
- Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices
- Physically capable of working long shifts in variable weather conditions
- RV or travel trailer strongly preferred due to remote site conditions
