Mainline Excavator operator

• →Operate mainline excavators safely and efficiently in a remote project environment
• →Perform trenching, ditching, grading, and material handling as required
  
• →Work closely with ground crews, supervisors, and other equipment operators
  
• →Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns
  
• →Maintain production while adhering to all safety and environmental standards
  
• →Follow project plans, specifications, and supervisor direction
  
• →Adapt to changing ground conditions, weather, and operational priorities
  
• →Uphold BC Eco and Sutherland Group safety expectations at all times

• Proven experience operating mainline excavators on civil, pipeline, or heavy industrial projects
• Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and ground conditions
  
• Experience working in remote or rotational project environments
  
• Ability to work 11–12 hour shifts for extended rotations
  
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
  
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe work practices
  
• Physically capable of working long shifts in variable weather conditions
  
• RV or travel trailer strongly preferred due to remote site conditions
