The Florida Panthers enter their 33^rd season in 2026-27 as one of the National Hockey League’s premier franchises. As back-to-back Stanley Cup champions in 2024 and 2025, the Cats have emerged victorious in 11 of their past 12 postseason series and have captured four Eastern Conference championships. The Panthers are led by President of Hockey Operations & General Manager Bill Zito entering his seventh season, and President of Business Operations Michael White who begins his first full season.

As the NHL’s southernmost team, the Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County, Florida: Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise; the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs; the state-of-the-art Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale; and the renovated War Memorial Auditorium, which hosts concerts and events for the South Florida faithful year-round.

An organization with deep roots in the community, the Panthers are owned by Vincent J. Viola, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Schedule: Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and holidays

The Zamboni Driver is responsible for maintaining the ice surfaces and related equipment, as well as providing general maintenance and operational support of the facility.

Responsibilities

→Provide ice cuts at specified times according to the ice schedule
→Check the outside perimeter of the ice surface including goal nets and storage areas
→Complete circle check of Zamboni and sign off on the Zamboni log at the beginning of each shift
→Check compressors, dehumidification unit, and other machinery; complete logs at regular intervals
→Walk the building to ensure locker rooms, party rooms, and other areas are secured
→Maintain cleanliness of the Zamboni room and operations areas
→Report any repairs and damage to the Operations Manager
→Conduct a final walk-through of the building ensuring all public areas are clean and the building is secure

→Assist in cleaning locker rooms, bathrooms, and all public areas of the building
→Remove all trash from property
→Assist with setup of event rooms and/or building for special events
→Provide support as needed for daily operational needs
→Other duties, cleaning and otherwise, as deemed necessary or as directed

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
Recent related experience in the preparation and maintenance of ice preferred
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong team player with good self-motivational skills
Sound organizational and time-management skills
Job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays required

This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
