Responsibilities

→Processes sales on point of sale
→Responsible for maintaining accuracy of cash drawer
→Greets and assists guests
→Assists with fitting guests in hockey and figure skating equipment and finding correct sizes
→Sharpens skates and repairs equipment
→Assists guests with purchasing decisions
→Maintains pro-shop as merchandised
→Maintains cleanliness of all retail areas
→Applies names and numbers to jerseys with heat press

→Additional projects tasks and events assigned

Requirements

Retail experience
Familiar with hockey and figure skating equipment fittings, repairs, and sharpening
Must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task
Self-starter with a high degree of enthusiasm, creative vision and ability to lead in a high-stress environment
Be able to make decisions in a fast-paced atmosphere
Must have strong interpersonal communication skills
Familiar with operating point of sale system

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is an hourly position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
