Banquet Houseperson (On Call)

The On-Call Banquet Houseperson is responsible for the set-up, refresh, breakdown, and maintenance of banquet and meeting spaces to ensure successful meetings and events. This position prepares rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), maintains cleanliness and organization throughout events, and provides support to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

• Greet guests and team members in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Maintain a positive and service-oriented attitude at all times.
• Set up banquet and meeting rooms according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Refresh meeting rooms and banquet spaces throughout events as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of banquet rooms, pre-function areas, storage rooms, and equipment.
• Break down banquet and meeting rooms following events and properly clean, organize, and store all equipment and supplies.
• Transport, arrange, and store tables, chairs, and other banquet equipment.
• Keep banquet storage areas clean, organized, and adequately stocked with supplies.
• Follow all hotel safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to two years of hotel, banquet, hospitality, or event set-up experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts based on business needs.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and other physical activities necessary to set up and break down banquet events.
