Supervises: The Clinic Director oversees all positions within the clinic.

Reports to: Sr. Operations Director


Position Summary

The Clinic Director oversees all aspects of clinic operations, ensuring delivery of high-quality, Christ-centered care and resource support. This role leads, trains, and develops staff and volunteers to ensure excellence in patient services, compliance, and operational efficiency. The Clinic Director plays a vital role in cultivating a healthy, mission-driven culture within their team while upholding The Source’s standards of compassion, integrity, and holistic care.


Qualifications

· A committed Christian demonstrating a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

· Strong commitment to the sanctity of human life and biblical sexual integrity.

· Agreement with and willingness to uphold The Source’s Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, or Healthcare related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

· 3–5 years of managerial experience (business, healthcare, or nonprofit).

· Experience managing program operations, budgets, and staff development.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

· Exceptional communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EHR (Athena), CRM (Salesforce), and performance tracking systems preferred.

· Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial audiences (staff, leadership, and board).

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

· Proven leadership skills in leading staff and organizational initiatives.

· Demonstrated servant leadership and professionalism.

· Collaborative, mission-driven servant leader with strong initiative and ownership.

Essential Job Functions

Operational Leadership

· Maintain clear communication with the Sr. Director of Operations regarding program updates, challenges, and performance metrics.

· Provide hands-on oversight of all clinic operations, including medical, counseling, resource, and education services, ensuring excellence in patient care and ministry impact.

· Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate all clinic staff and volunteers, fostering a culture of accountability, compassion, and professionalism.

· Ensure effective coordination of daily operations in alignment with organizational policies, clinical protocols, and the Medical Director’s standing orders.

· Conduct bi-weekly team meetings and monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to review goals, performance, and ongoing development.

· Maintain consistent communication with the Senior Director of Operations regarding program performance, staffing, operational challenges, and key performance metrics.

· Collaborate cross-departmentally with HR, Finance, Marketing and Outreach to ensure integrated and efficient support for clinic operations.

· Promote continuous improvement through regular evaluation of workflows, client experience, and team engagement.


Program Management & Compliance

· Responsible for maintaining facility compliance, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness.

· Lead preparation for and participation in annual audits, inspections, and grant compliance reviews.

· Conduct routine chart reviews and documentation audits to ensure accuracy, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

· Maintain thorough documentation of CPS reports, critical incidents, and other required

compliance records in accordance with policy and state guidelines.

· Collaborate with the Senior Director of Operations to identify and mitigate compliance risks, ensuring patient safety and operational integrity.

· Model integrity and stewardship in managing all clinic processes, upholding the organization’s standards of transparency and accountability.

Financial & Resource Management

· Oversee the overall financial health of the clinic, ensuring responsible stewardship of all resources and alignment with organizational priorities.

· Monitor and manage clinical expenses in accordance with the approved departmental budget, proactively addressing variances.

· Collaborate with the Comptroller and Senior Director of Operations to develop, monitor, and forecast budgets, ensuring accuracy and fiscal accountability.

· Review monthly financial reports and key performance indicators to guide operational decisions and identify opportunities for efficiency and growth.

· Ensure timely submission of invoices, expenses, and supporting documentation in compliance with financial policies and audit requirements.

· Participate in the annual budgeting process and provide input on staffing, supplies, and capital needs.

· Promote a culture of financial transparency and stewardship consistent with The Source’s mission and values.

Staff & Volunteer Development

· Provide ongoing training, coaching, and feedback to ensure staff and volunteers perform at a high standard of excellence and accountability.

· Set, document, and monitor personal and professional development goals for self and staff within the HRIS system, fostering continuous growth and alignment with The Source’s mission and values.

· Establish clear performance expectations and monitor progress toward operational, clinical, and ministry goals, ensuring accountability and consistency across the team.

· Conduct mid-year and annual performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and professional development plans.

· Partner with Human Resources and the Senior Director of Operations to address personnel issues, reinforce policies, and ensure consistency across clinics.

· Maintain accurate documentation of all 1:1 meetings, team meetings, performance conversations, and coaching sessions, ensuring alignment with HR standards and organizational expectations.

· Promote professional, personal, and spiritual growth through mentoring, encouragement, and prayerful leadership.

· Shadow staff quarterly to observe service delivery, reinforce best practices, and provide real-time coaching and support.

· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and grace that reflects The Source’s mission and values.

Community Engagement

· Represent The Source within the local community through clinic tours, donor visits, outreach events, and partnership meetings that strengthen awareness and support for the organization.

· Partner with the Outreach & Community Engagement Team to support recruitment, volunteer appreciation, and ongoing community partnerships.

· Foster positive relationships with local churches, schools, and community organizations to expand referral networks and advance The Source’s mission.

· Actively participate in the organization’s major annual fundraising event in Houston or Austin, depending on the clinic’s location.

· Expected to attend and volunteer at The Source's local major fund-raising event every year. Strongly encouraged to attend and volunteer at The Source's second major fund-raising event as well.


Organizational Leadership

· Model and cultivate a Christ-centered culture that reflects The Source’s mission, vision, and core values in all areas of leadership and service.

· Promote cross-departmental collaboration to ensure integrated, holistic, and high-quality care for clients.

· Provide input and leadership for organizational initiatives, strategic priorities, and special projects assigned by leadership.

· Participate in leadership meetings, training, and planning sessions to align clinic operations with broader organizational goals.

· Demonstrate servant leadership through humility, accountability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
