Dietitian - Part Time (Mon, Wed and Fri: 25-30 hrs per week)

About The Role

The Wave International is seeking a qualified and motivated Dietitian to support nutrition services across multiple behavioral health facilities. This is a multi-site role with a combination of onsite and virtual responsibilities.

The Dietitian will be onsite at The Wave of Clearwater and The Wave of Edgewater (Florida) and provide virtual support to The Wave of Columbia (South Carolina) and The Wave of North Florida (Lake City, Florida).

This role is critical in supporting client health, recovery, and overall treatment outcomes through individualized nutrition planning, education, and collaboration with clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized meal and nutrition plans
• Provide ongoing nutrition counseling and education to clients
• Monitor and evaluate client progress and adjust plans as needed
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, and dietary teams to support integrated care
• Oversee and guide food service operations to ensure nutritional compliance
• Ensure menus meet dietary needs, restrictions, and regulatory standards
• Facilitate group sessions on nutrition, wellness, and healthy habits
• Create and distribute nutrition-related educational materials
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
• Support compliance with state regulations and accreditation standards
• Stay current on nutrition best practices and behavioral health trends

Work Structure

• Onsite: The Wave of Clearwater (FL) and The Wave of Edgewater (FL)
• Virtual: The Wave of Columbia (South Carolina) and The Wave of North Florida (Lake City, FL)
• Full-time role with a dynamic, multi-location scope

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (required)
• Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian (required)
• Active Florida Dietitian license (required)
• Eligible for South Carolina licensure (company will assist with obtaining license)
• 1–3 years of experience in healthcare or behavioral health preferred
• Experience with mental health and/or substance use populations strongly preferred
