As Compliance Operations Associate, you will proactively manage risk, investigate anomalies, and drive resolutions. Reporting to a Senior Compliance Operations Associate, you will protect our expert network ecosystem by validating expert profiles, resolving complex screening alerts, and uncovering structural risk trends across datasets. This is a high-impact, analytical role designed for a problem-solver who asks "why" rather than just ticking boxes and helping to drive data-driven insights.

Please note the working hours for this role are to predominantly support the UK and US offices and therefore require flexible working -

Three days working 10am to 7pm IST (remote) – Monday, Wednesday and Friday
One day 9am to 6pm IST (in office) - Tuesday
One day 9am to 6pm IST (in office) – Thursday

Responsibilities

→Conduct thorough, end-to-end investigations of global sanctions alerts, PEP lists, and adverse media matches on industry experts, accurately eliminating false positives.
→Adjudicate the identities of experts, conducting deep-dive research into anomalies, potential conflicts of interest, or suspicious activity.
→Analyse complex anomalous activities, undertaking comprehensive research, risk assessment, and final adjudication.
→Utilise advanced Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques to cross-reference data, uncover hidden linkages, to support outcomes.
→Test new and existing risk identification tools and support with the design of protocols and guidelines.
→Maintain accurate, auditable documentation of all compliance reviews, case investigations, and operational outcomes.

Critical thinker with excellent analytical skills
Organized to work autonomously on multiple review
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to develop strong working relationships across the organization
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Knowledge of KYC and AML is beneficial
Must be fluent in English
