As our new Global Payroll Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our international operations, taking the lead on payroll across the EMEA, US, and APAC regions. This is a critical, hands-on role where you’ll combine high-level operational oversight with the day-to-day execution of our end-to-end monthly payroll. Reporting directly to our US-based Global Payroll, Tax and Compliance Manager, you’ll ensure accuracy, standardization, and compliance, all while collaborating closely with a supportive cross-functional team across the globe.
Responsibilities
~1 min read● Manage end-to-end payroll operations for global regions (EMEA, APAC, US, CAN), ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and delivery
● Ensure compliance with all relevant local labor laws, tax regulations, and internal governance standards
● Partner with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to streamline operations and resolve issues
● Serve as the go-to contact for payroll questions from employees, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clear and accurate communication
● Maintain and improve payroll-related systems, processes, and controls
● Prepare payroll reports and reconciliations for Accounting, Finance and HR teams
● Assist with timely payroll journal entry delivery during month-end close
● Support audits and implement recommendations for continuous improvement
● Work with the Global Payroll lead on an automation agenda
● Collaborate with HR to ensure data accuracy and alignment with employee lifecycle events (e.g. onboarding, promotions, terminations)
Requirements
~1 min read● 9+ years proven experience managing multi-country payroll operations across US, European and APAC jurisdictions, experience in Japan, HK, South Korea, UK, BE, UAE, or Germany is a plus.
● Strong knowledge of European labor law and statutory requirements is required.
● Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
● Demonstrated experience managing relationships with external payroll providers across multiple countries.
● Outstanding internal & external-facing customer service skills with a sense of urgency.
● Must be self-driven and able to work autonomously.
● Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment.
● Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
● Fluent written and spoken English is required.
