Busser

• Communicating with the host/hostesses, servers, bartenders, and management team to ensure tables are updated in our seating system. 
• Pre-bussing tables in the dining room when all dirty tables are clean. 
• Bussing/cleaning tables inside the restaurant as well as on the patio, and helping clean the bar top. 
• Replace sanitizer in spray bottles and buckets as needed to ensure safety and sanitation. 
• Clean, disinfect, and sanitize work areas before, during and after shift.
• Assist with stocking glassware, water bottles, plate ware, silverware, dishes, etc. as needed.
• Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects. 
• Complete daily restaurant maintenance program.

• A positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
• Able to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves.
• Reading, writing and verbal communication skills required. 
• Ability to follow directions exactly as expected. 
• Ability to work fast, safe, efficient, and accurately for periods of up to 10 hours per day. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Mobility required during the entire shift.
• Ability to transport cases up to 50 pounds as many as 20 times per day.
• Ability to carry bus tubs full of dishes and miscellaneous items from the tables, throughout the entirety of the restaurant repetitively, for periods of up to 6 hours.
• Able to respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others.

There are physical demands that come with this role. To be successful in this role you’ll be regularly required to 1) navigate throughout the restaurant and communicate with guests, 2) move and grasp items up to five pounds, 3) occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, 4)  bend and stoop. You must have adequate vision to be able to discern cleanliness throughout the restaurant and operate a touchscreen.
