Staff Accountant

As a Staff Accountant at Thyme Care, you’ll play a key role in our Finance & Accounting team by supporting core accounting functions that keep our financial operations accurate, compliant, and efficient. You will report to the Accounting Manager, and your responsibilities will include:

• →Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s of Accountancy is a plus
• →1+ year(s) of experience in accounting or related field
• →Active CPA license or working toward a CPA license
• →Proven knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• →Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formatting
• →Experience with accounting software (Sage Intacct is a plus)
• →Experience with Ramp is a plus
• →Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and a willingness to apply them to accounting workflows is a plus

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Thyme Care. Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity relative to other Thyme Care employees. In accordance with New York City law, the base salary for this role, if filled within New York City, is $63,000-70,000. The salary range could be lower or higher than this if the role is hired in another location or at another level.
