About the Role
~1 min readWe are seeking an experienced and driven Training Lead to lead and develop a training team who are responsible for training all 500+ employees across our Member Operations space for our UK and EU markets. This space spans six key functions:
- Member Support
- KYX
- Ongoing Monitoring
- Collections
- Complaints
- Quality Assurance
You will be responsible for both onboarding new Tideans and ensuring that existing Tideans have the knowledge, skills, and ongoing development needed to perform at their best.
Your work will help build capability across Member Operations, supporting both operational excellence and an outstanding member experience.
This is a key leadership role in a fast-evolving environment. As we continue to grow and scale, you’ll play a critical part in shaping how we deliver training, manage quality, and support performance across functions. You’ll need to bring strong training operations experience, a people-first mindset, and the agility to adapt quickly to change. Your success will be measured by the smooth running of our training programmes, the effectiveness of your team, and the impact training has on business outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing training teams, ideally within customer-facing operations/ regulated industries
- Deep expertise in training methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning best practices, ideally within fintech, financial services, or an equally regulated sector
- Passionate about creating engaging learning experiences and experienced in using a wide variety of learning tools, technologies, and delivery methods. Ensuring you are innovating and bringing new tools into the team.
- Comfortable building business cases and influencing stakeholders to invest in innovative learning solutions.
- Strong coaching and leadership skills, with a genuine passion for developing people and helping them succeed.
- An outstanding communicator with the ability to captivate, engage, and inspire audiences of all sizes. You bring infectious energy, enthusiasm, and passion to everything you do, creating excitement around learning and development wherever you go.
- A natural presenter and storyteller, capable of bringing complex topics to life and turning training sessions into memorable, high-impact experiences.
- Highly articulate, confident, and credible, with the ability to influence and energise everyone from frontline colleagues to senior leaders.
- You thrive in front of an audience and have a rare ability to command a room, create momentum, and motivate people to perform at their very best.
- A highly autonomous leader who doesn't wait to be told what to do. You can set a clear vision, build a strategy, and inspire others to execute it.

- A creative problem solver who identifies opportunities and challenges early and rapidly implements effective solutions.
- Strong training operations skills, including the ability to manage scheduling, coordination, documentation, and feedback loops at scale
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive performance, influence decision-making, and measure impact.
- Comfortable working with data and business analytics tools, including Excel and SQL.
- A strong understanding of KPIs and operational performance within high-growth technology businesses.
- Outstanding relationship-building, communication, and influencing skills.
- Able to build credibility quickly and effectively manage stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of seniority.
- A strong understanding of the small business market and the challenges faced by entrepreneurs, with a genuine passion for helping SMEs succeed.
