About the Role
~2 min readThis is an exciting 6-month fixed term contract opportunity for an emerging communications professional to gain meaningful exposure to the PR function within luxury retail. You will immerse yourself in the discipline while gaining hands-on experience across the delivery of large-scale brand projects from concept through to execution.
- Supporting the broader Communications team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the preparation of press materials and tools for markets
- Generating positive publicity across print and digital editorial, third-party endorsements, influencer partnerships, and media events
- Supporting the Communications Executive in the coordination of PR shooting opportunities, including the handling, transportation, and safe return of merchandise
- Assisting with creative allocations across all media channels
- Supporting briefing, creative feedback, and approvals for digital advertising assets
- Ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to, maintaining the highest standard of visual presentation and copywriting across all campaign delivery
- Capturing clippings and social posts in a timely manner for internal reporting
- Coordinating press schedules for regional markets and with external agencies
- Supporting the coordination of celebrity schedules with external agencies
- Supporting campaign set-up with agencies and ensuring all tracking tags are correctly implemented
- Keeping relevant internal stakeholders informed of press activities, including photo shoots and events
- Compiling PR, media, and competitor reporting for local and regional teams
- Cultivating relationships with new and emerging talent on behalf of the brand
- Supporting monthly invoicing processes
- Tertiary qualification in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations
- Prior experience in Public Relations or Marketing
- Understanding and hands-on experience across all social media channels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
- Flexibility for after-hours requirements when needed
- Previous experience in luxury retail will be highly regarded
