The Role 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Move & Inventory Coordinator to support a large-scale office and laboratory relocation project for approximately 4-6 months. This role will play a critical part in validating existing floorplans, inventorying furniture and equipment, and supporting the development of move plans that enable an efficient and successful relocation process.

The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure furniture and equipment locations are accurately documented and aligned between existing and future spaces.

This is a highly active, site-based role that involves extensive walking throughout office and technology laboratory environments, including frequent movement between floors, rooms, and workspaces over extended periods of time.

 
What You’ll Do 

• Conduct detailed site walkthroughs of office and technology laboratory spaces to inventory furniture, equipment, and existing room configurations.
• Validate and update existing floorplans to ensure accuracy of furniture and equipment locations.
• Support the creation and coordination of move floorplans by identifying and labeling destination locations for furniture and equipment.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure move documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with relocation requirements.

What You’ll Bring 

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document furniture, equipment, and spatial information.
• Comfortable working with floorplans, drawings, and space layouts; experience with AutoCAD or similar drawing software is essential.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and team members.
• Ability to work independently in active office and technology laboratory environments while managing multiple priorities and timelines.
   

Work Environment:

• Primarily site-based role within active office and technology laboratory environments.
• Significant walking, standing, and movement throughout facilities is required on a daily basis.
• May involve navigating stairs, carrying light materials such as drawings or inventory documentation, and spending extended periods conducting field verification activities.

What We Offer: 

• This posting reflects a current, active vacancy.  
  
• This is a full-time contract position expected to last approximately 4-6 months, with compensation in the range of $30-$35 per hour. 
  This range represents the breadth of experience and expectations for the role. Final compensation will be determined based on an individual’s skills, experience, and demonstrated impact, with progression within the range aligned to performance and contribution over time.
