Currently seeking Specialists who are BILINGUAL in SPANISH or MANDARIN CHINESE for these areas
Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers where they can naturally learn and develop.
Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant/toddlers with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.
Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.
Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social/emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.
Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents/guardians with written weekly activities and effective coaching.
Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in health/human services-related major required
If you do not have a Bachelor's Degree: May substitute one year of full time college for each year of experience working/volunteering with children (For example, if you have the equivalent of two years of full-time college classes PLUS 2 or more years of experience working directly with children we will consider this as meeting the requirement)
*Note: if candidate has Bachelor's degree, then experience may not be required

License: Valid CA driver’s license in good standing;
Also must have at least one year of history as a licensed driver (in any US state)
Vehicle: Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance coverage

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Availability: most sessions will be during the day time on the week days, but some flexibility with availability including some evenings and weekend times may be needed
Working environment: Services provided in the home of children in program and their parents/guardians
