Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead, influence and contribute across R&D to drive business value for Toast and our restaurant customers
- →Collaborate closely with product and engineering stakeholders to drive strategic direction for Toast’s data platforms, enabling Toast to solve classes of data problems once
- →Help in assessing tradeoffs and how best to meet product team needs while building in a scalable and sustainable way
- →Work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment while focusing on key goals and objectives
Requirements
~1 min read- 6+ years of experience as a product manager for platforms teams, ideally with a strong focus on data
- Strong knowledge of platform engineering, including experience guiding platform builds or contributing to building them
- Comfortable working across multiple teams with competing priorities and timelines
- Familiarity with AI tools, including common LLMs (e.g. Claude Code)
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and product stakeholders to evaluate new technologies and their ability to meet Toast’s data platform needs
- Strong communication skills, demonstrated through documentation and presentations. Able to present findings to senior management to inform business decisions.
