Toast’s International UK team is looking for a Software Engineer I. This engineer will play a valuable role in developing best-in-class product experiences for Toast’s growing UK customer base. You will work closely with the Design, Product and Customer teams to build solutions that best serve our UK customers. As a member of the team, you will be surrounded by other talented engineers to learn from and level-up your skills, as well as learn new technologies leveraged across the Toast technology stack.

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Design, build and deploy best-in-class product experiences that are used daily by our customers.
- →Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code across both backend and frontend applications.
- →Collaborate across engineering, product and design to plan and execute on work.
- →Take ownership of feature delivery, from design through implementation, testing, deployment and iteration.
Requirements
~1 min read- Proficient in Java, Kotlin or another object-oriented language, with an understanding of testing, quality & best practices.
- Proficiency with modern JavaScript technologies, such as React/Angular/Vue and TypeScript.
- Ability to embrace an agile mindset focused on delivering usable software.
- A passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Passionate about driving impact, through delivering meaningful software products, that our customers use everyday.
