Tracksuit helps brands prove that brand building is worth it. We give marketing teams the data they need to make smarter decisions, earn internal credibility, and grow more sustainable businesses.

We're scaling fast across New Zealand, Australia, the US, and the UK, backed by world class investors. We can track those brands across 25 markets to help our brand believers prove the power of brand wherever they are. Our team of Trackstars are collaborative, ambitious, and building something that genuinely matters. We live by "high care, high performance" we strive to be the best and look after each other while we do it.

We're looking for a Head of Product to lead our product management team while our current Head of Product is on parental leave (~12 months).

This isn't a caretaker gig. You'll be stepping into a genuine leadership role, coaching and growing our product managers, shaping product strategy and owning delivery alongside our Head of Engineering, and Head of Design. You'll have real ownership, real impact, and a team that's excited to work with you.

If you're a kind, low ego product leader who gets energy from helping others do their best work while striving to be the best, this is the role for you. We are looks for a highly dynamic and adaptable product leader who loves the chaos and pace of a scaling global SaaS businesses.

  • Be customer-obsessed. Drive the team and the business to think customer first in everything we do. Speak with customers and partners to understand pain-points and development opportunities.
  • Build product culture. Champion a culture of continuous discovery, testing, and learning. Be an evangelist for the product, aligning the company and other functions around the product vision and our approach to building.
  • Lead, coach, and grow the product management team. You'll be responsible for our product managers — their development, their craft, and their careers. You should have a track record of mentoring PMs and building strong product culture.
  • Shape and drive product strategy. Collaborate with the Head of Engineering, and Head of Design to set the direction of the product. Create an inspiring product vision, an insight driven strategy, and a carefully crafted team structure to deliver on it.
  • Align teams around what matters. Ensure the product organisation is aligned with the broader company in pursuing the best opportunities. Set objectives that tie product development to key business outcomes.
  • Partner across the business. Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer success, and wider functions to drive successful product outcomes. Lead how the product team communicates with the rest of Tracksuit.
  • Represent Tracksuit externally. Champion the company, our product, and our approach to building in public.
  • You love developing people. Your favourite part of the job is watching someone you've coached nail something they couldn't do six months ago. You put your team first and get genuinely excited about helping people reach the next stage in their career.
  • You lead with empathy and kindness. Low ego, high care. You don't take yourself too seriously and you show up in a way that makes people want to work with you. We're casual, but we really care about the people, the product, and the process. You should too.
  • You understand the craft deeply. You've been a product manager yourself. You have deep experience across discovery, design, delivery, data, strategy, and storytelling. You can guide others because you've done the work.
  • You've scaled before. You've been through the growing pains of a fast-moving startup. You're comfortable with things breaking every 3–6 months and ways of working constantly being redefined. That excites you, not exhausts you.
  • You think commercially. You can shape a product strategy in a scrappy, fast moving environment. You think holistically about the business, not just the backlog. You guide teams to use data to make decisions.
  • You can bring people on the journey. You have experience aligning senior stakeholders around a product strategy. You communicate clearly and build trust across functions.
  • Experience in a product leadership role: leading and growing a team of product managers.
  • Experience scaling a SaaS product and team: ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • A strong coaching and mentorship track record: you've built PM capability, not just managed it.
  • Cross functional partnership skills: experienced working with engineering, design, data, and the wider business.
  • Customer insight orientation: you drive customer first thinking across everything you touch.
  • Don't tick every box? If you've got the right attitude and most of the experience, we'd still love to hear from you. Some of our best Trackstars didn't fit a traditional mould.

  • ESOP for everyone: Every Trackstar has a share in our success, from day one.
  • Transparent salaries: No guesswork, no awkward negotiations.
  • L&D budget: Your growth matters to us.
  • Flexible/hybrid working: We trust you to do your best work, whether that's from our Auckland office or your home setup.
  • Epic Tracksuit merch: You'll get your own Tracksuit. Obviously.
  • High care, high performance culture. Big ambitions, real support. We push each other to be brilliant and look after each other while we do it.
  • Genuine impact: You'll be leading a product team at a company that's changing how the world thinks about brand.
