Tradeweb is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Underwriter to help support and build a Brokerage CD Underwriting Desk. This role will assist in providing funding solutions for banks through brokered Certificates of Deposits as an alternative funding channel. The individual must have a track record in the capital market space with a reputation for sound judgement and strong risk management skills. With the ability to communicate and build relationships, recognize new business opportunities, and help drive growth.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Lead the end-to-end issuance process for Brokered CDs, ensuring proper documentation, settlement and regulatory compliance
- →Support the onboarding of issuing banks – obtaining necessary legal documentation and risk approvals
- →Work closely with the sales team to establish and maintain relationships with issuing banks
- →Monitor market conditions, funding trends, and competitive activity to provide actionable market insights to inform decision-making
- →Assist in maintaining accurate transaction records and reporting
- →Work with internal teams to help build and maintain CD New Issuance platform
- →Help drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency
Requirements
~1 min read- 3-5 years’ experience in CD Underwriting and building relationships with issuing banks
- Understanding of the full lifecycle of the Brokerage CD underwriting process
- Established relationships with issuing banks
- Series 7 & 63 preffered
- Series 24 a plus
- Strong financial acumen
- Strategic thinking and crisis management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Visionary mindset to align with the company’s long-term goals
- Ability to work with internal sales teams and external issuing banks

- The current pay range for this role if performed in the city of New York is currently $90,000 to $175,000 per year, based on a regular, full-time schedule. The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, market data, geographic location, and internal guidelines.
