Senior IT Manager - Applications

Own and manage the full enterprise applications portfolio, ensuring high performance, availability, security, and alignment with business objectives. Develop and execute the application strategy roadmap, evaluating and implementing new technologies to drive operational efficiency and business value. Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT, translating requirements into technical solutions and identifying opportunities for process and system improvements. Lead end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities, enforcing development standards, managing priorities, resources, vendors, and ensuring quality delivery. Oversee multiple concurrent application projects, managing plans, budgets, timelines, risks, and providing executive-level progress reporting. Lead Microsoft Business Central implementation and optimization, manage system integrations, and oversee MS SQL database performance, security, backup, and recovery processes. Provide team leadership and mentorship, strengthening technical capabilities while fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and service excellence. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, IITian or related field (Master's degree preferred) • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification (highly desirable) • Microsoft certifications in Business Central or Dynamics 365 (advantage) • Minimum 8 years of progressive IT experience with at least 3 years in application management or similar leadership role • Demonstrated experience managing the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) • Proven track record of successful project management and delivery • Experience in application optimization, performance tuning, and process improvement • Background in aviation industry operations, systems, and business processes • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central (formerly Dynamics NAV/365 Business Central) • Strong experience with MS SQL Server database administration and optimization
