2026 Consulting Strategy & Professional Services Internship
Quick Summary
Transparent Partners is an independent consultancy that specializes in enhancing customer experiences through a marketing lens. Our goal is to identify the unique mix of data,
This summer, you'll work on things that actually matter to clients.
Not hypotheticals. Not a project invented to keep an intern busy. You'll be embedded in active engagements, helping teams understand how their marketing data gets used, where their operations break down, and what AI might actually change about how they work.
At Transparent Partners, strategy, data, and technology aren't separate departments. They're different lenses on the same problem. As a Strategy & Services Intern, you'll move between all three and start to see how they connect.
You'll support real client engagements across strategy, measurement, data, and marketing technology. That means different things on different days.
Some days you're in discovery mode, listening to how a team operates, documenting current-state processes, and capturing stakeholder perspectives. The output isn't just notes. It's organized, usable material the team can actually build from.
Some days you're in synthesis mode, working through research, client artifacts, and data to find the patterns that matter. You're expected to distill, not just summarize. The difference is a point of view.
Some days you're building, drafting sections of client deliverables, developing frameworks, and supporting analysis. You'll own specific components of real outputs, not supporting tasks that orbit the real work.
More specifically, you will:
-
Conduct current-state research and assessments of how clients use data, marketing technology, and operational processes
-
Document workflows, decision-making structures, and process gaps through stakeholder interviews and artifact review
-
Distill findings from discovery, interviews, client documents, platform audits, into organized themes and actionable insights
-
Support the development of client-facing deliverables including presentations, project roadmaps, process documentation, and strategic recommendations
-
Conduct industry and competitive research, leveraging all available resources to build a working understanding of relevant markets, tools, and trends
-
Assist in building gap analyses that identify opportunities and outline a recommended path forward
-
Contribute to measurement and analytics work, including supporting data strategy assessments and helping translate findings into clear implications
-
Support evaluation of marketing technology ecosystems, identifying opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or improve how platforms are used
-
Help monitor project pacing, flag risks, and support internal coordination across workstreams
-
Contribute to internal initiatives, including knowledge-building, operational improvements, and team documentation
A meaningful part of this role is helping us, and our clients, figure out how AI actually fits into the work. You don't need to arrive as an expert. You need to arrive curious.
-
Use AI tools actively in your day-to-day work, not as a novelty, but as a real part of how you get things done
-
Evaluate where AI adds genuine value and where it falls short, and be honest about the difference
-
Contribute to how we build and test AI-enabled approaches for client engagements
-
Help document what's working so the team can learn from it and build on it
-
A rising senior pursuing a degree in marketing, business, data, communications, or a related field
-
Some exposure to consulting, client services, analytics, or marketing through coursework, internships, or project work, not required, but meaningful
-
Strong written communication skills, you can take a messy set of inputs and produce something coherent, organized, and clear
-
Someone who asks 'why does this work this way?' and actually follows through until they get a real answer
-
Comfortable moving forward when you don't have all the information yet, you make reasonable assumptions, flag them, and keep going
-
Curious about AI, not just as a user but as someone who thinks critically about where it helps and where it doesn't
-
Accountable and proactive, you follow through on what you say you'll do, and you don't wait to be reminded
-
Collaborative without being passive, you contribute your own thinking, not just what you think people want to hear
-
Your work is accurate, clear, and lands on time
-
People start pulling you in earlier, because you've shown you can contribute, not just execute
-
Your questions make the work better
-
You're using AI in real, useful ways, not just as a shortcut
-
You’ll close out the summer by walking the full team through something you built and owning the thinking behind it.
