Lead and mentor a team of LQA testers across multiple languages.

Plan, coordinate, and execute localization testing activities throughout the development lifecycle.

Validate localized in-game text, UI, subtitles, audio, and player-facing content for linguistic accuracy and contextual relevance.

Identify, document, prioritize, and track localization defects to resolution.

Collaborate with QA, Development, Production, and Localization teams to ensure quality standards are met.

Monitor project progress, risks, and quality metrics, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.

Develop and maintain LQA processes, test documentation, and best practices.

Support release readiness, post-release validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is on a freelance contract.
As a mandatory requirement, you must have the right to work in Shanghai. You will be required to provide supporting documentation.
This is an onsite position. You are required to work onsite during core business hours (Mon – Fri, 8 hours per day) at our office in Shanghai. So you shall be based in the Shanghai area or you are within commuting distance to our office.

3+ years of experience in Localization QA, Linguistic QA, or Game QA.
1+ years of experience leading QA or localization testing teams.
Native level (or near-native)of Korean (testing language), including excellent spelling and grammar.
Good command of Chinese and English language
A high school diploma or equivalent is required (a degree in computer science, game design, or a related field is a strong plus).
Strong understanding of localization workflows and video game development processes.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Excellent communication in Chinese, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
