Engineering Technician (Construction Observation)
We are looking for a motivated Engineering Technician to work at Fehr Graham. We are interested in talented, trustworthy and skilled people who are passionate about providing personalized attention to our clients.

What you’ll do:
  • You’ll inspect contractor operations for compliance with project plans and specifications. 
  • Prepare project notes, calculations and summary sheets following Fehr Graham documentation procedures.
  • Keep daily records of contractor quantities and activities.
  • Conduct field measurements for record drawings, and communicate with project managers, contractors, and clients. 
  • You'll support the engineering and environmental functions of the firm. 
  • The workweek will exceed 40 hours, especially during construction season.

What it takes
  • An associate degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, Architecture Technology or CAD Drafting from a technical college or institution is preferred. 
  • Relevant experience may offset the educational requirement. 
  • You must have a valid driver’s license. 
  • You should speak and write well. 
  • You should have strong analytical and organizational skills. 
  • You must be a team player.
