Trinity Solar, one of the nation’s leading residential solar companies, is looking for a Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. This is a great opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to build broad experience, take ownership of meaningful work, and gain exposure to multiple areas of a fast-moving business.

Responsibilities:

✓Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial records, and supporting documentation.

✓Analyze general ledger activity and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

✓Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and other financial records to ensure accuracy.

✓Assist with financial reports, schedules, and analysis for leadership.

✓Research discrepancies, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.

✓Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests.

✓Help ensure accounting activities comply with company policies, GAAP, and applicable requirements.

✓Partner with teams across the organization to resolve accounting questions and support financial operations.

✓Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve accounting processes.

✓Gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

✓Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and sound judgment.

✓Support additional accounting and finance initiatives as the business evolves.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
2–5 years of accounting, financial operations, or related experience preferred.
Public accounting experience and/or CPA or CPA-track experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and reconciliations.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with financial data.
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
A proactive mindset—you’re comfortable asking questions, digging into the details, and looking for better ways to get things done.
