About the team
The Systems Integration Engineers team within Trustly has the purpose of providing technical support to Merchants, covering those in the integration phase to those already in Production. This support is given through the analysis of cases coming from traders or from internal teams, escalating to other times when necessary. Not just limited to case support, the team also supports debugging support with Merchant and technical support in-house. Together with the entire Merchant Services team, it is a communication interface between merchants and Trustly's internal teams.
The System Integration Engineer will work with the MTS team to deliver technical services externally for merchants and internally to other Trustly teams such as Merchant Operations, Risk, Integrations, Customer Success, and Product. This will include services such as investigation and resolution of live merchant technical inquiries and escalations, and developer technical support. The services will also include work on improving internal and external documentation, developing internal tools to support daily activities, along with providing product and feature release training for Merchant Services and other internal teams.
- Be a point of escalation for the Merchant Services team on internal technology and third party processing partner issues.
- Work with Dev/Product Support to resolve escalated issues from the Operations and Integrations teams.
- Be a liaison between Dev/Product and Merchant Services teams.
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in existing and new Trustly technology for all Trustly teams.
- Share Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge on multiple channels: a ticketing system, public forums, online chat, social networks, client calls, and more.
- Work on Account Configuration and Operational tasks to support the Integrations team.
- Be part of a 24/7 service in support of the Merchant Services team.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Excellent English skills (written and verbal).
- The candidate must be able to develop simple solutions using Java or C#, JavaScript, HTML, and database queries.
- Knowledge of how to do RESTful API calls.
- Ability to debug and investigate issues raised by merchants and Trustly's teams.
- Ability to quality assures the new features delivered provided by Product will suffice Merchant's needs.
- Experience in merchant operations, technical customer support role, or Software QA role.
- Knowledge of AWS Cloud Computing, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Database queries.
- Previous knowledge of mobile platforms.
- Previous experience in cloud software development.
- Previous knowledge of payments services.
