We are hiring a Tower Operations Specialist to serve as the primary on-site Picnic representative inside office buildings while also supporting operations inside our partnering kitchen facilities. This is a highly visible, trusted role that bridges buildings, kitchens, drivers, and the Picnic operations team.
About the Role

Tower Operations Specialist will receive orders from Drivers, deliver to specified locations within the building, and act as the primary customer contact for eaters.
Create a community bridge between Picnic, kitchens, drivers, and eaters.
Responsibilities

Transport and organize food at designated locations within office buildings.
Deliver orders to specific office drop points and act as the primary on-site contact for eaters and office managers.
Represent Picnic professionally within government and commercial buildings.
Ensure delivery shelves and staging areas are organized and accurate.
Support partnering kitchen operations by coordinating orders and handoffs.
Assist with day-to-day flow between partnering kitchens and delivery drivers.
Help onboard and support Picnic drivers as the network grows.
Provide feedback to operations leadership on process improvements.
Requirements

Proficiency in English needed.
Positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in food service, delivery, or operations is a plus.
Ability to obtain and maintain Tier 1 U.S. Background Clearance (Active Tier 1 U.S. government clearance is not required prior to start date but preferred).
Job Type: Part-time employee role
Pay: Hourly pay of $19
Locations: Downtown DC (In-person role across office buildings, restaurants, and ghost kitchen facilities)

Shift Availability: Lunch-hour focused shifts during the traditional work week (M-F).
Work Location: In person
