Marksman Titan Security is currently hiring a part time Security Officer to work at a location in Roseville, Michigan.

Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to:

Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds
Must have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information
Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required.
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Monitor the assigned lots and conduct mobile patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages.
Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed.
Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building.
Observe departing personnel to guard against theft.
Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications of Security Officers:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather.

Preferred Qualifications of Security Officers:
• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required

Pay and Benefits of Security Officers:
• Starting at $16.80 - 18.00 per hour depending on position
