  • Ensuring efficient procurement processes
  • Implementation of the procurement processes in coordination with the parties involved in the process and in compliance with the relevant specifications of the company management
  • Running commercial tenders - obtaining, analyzing and negotiating offers as well as commercial review and awarding of contracts
  • Technical examination of offers for implementation possibilities in coordination with the specialist department
  • Independent contract negotiation, management and conclusion
  • Complaint handling (claim management)
  • Supplier selection and development of effective supplier relationships as well as monitoring of supplier audits
  • Identification and implementation of measures to reduce the so-called Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
  • Realization of cost savings

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics or Engineering
  • Technical understanding and interest in a maritime working environment
  • Structured, independent working style and organizational skills
  • Reliability and assertiveness
  • Thinking in economic and overall business contexts/conceptual skills
  • Very good written and spoken English language skills (business fluent)
  • German, Swedish or Polish is an advantage but not a prerequisite
  • Ability to grasp things quickly, enjoys communication, team player
  • Willingness to travel
