JOB SUMMARY   Reporting to the Senior Director, HRBP, the HR Business Partner plays a pivotal role in supporting an onsite operations client group at the South Valley and Coastal winery sites located in Fresno, Madera, Culter, Soledad, and Westfield, NY. This role has one direct report and is responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and performance management support for that position. With a workforce of 120+ union and non-union employees, the HRBP Associate will manage employee relations, labor relations, organizational structure, succession planning, coaching, and investigations. Additionally, this role will assist in implementing training programs for the Operations Leadership team, ensuring continuous development and operational excellence.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS   Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions and performance management. Support labor relations activities, including union interactions, grievance resolution, and negotiations. Assist in organizational development initiatives, such as structure and succession planning. Provide coaching to supervisors and department managers to enhance team performance. Conduct investigations, handling moderately complex issues and escalating when necessary. Collaborate with leaders to align HR strategies with business goals. Implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices. Facilitate training and development programs to build leadership capabilities within the client group. Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements. Support change management initiatives to drive organizational effectiveness.   OTHER FUNCTIONS   Employee Relations: Competent in managing employee relations issues. Labor Relations: Strong understanding of labor laws and union interactions. Organizational Development: Ability to support organizational structure, talent review and succession planning. Coaching: Capable of providing coaching to department leaders. Investigations: Proficient in conducting investigations. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is highly desirable. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience (or 10 years of HR experience without a degree), with a strong background in employee and labor relations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems, data analysis, and reporting tools. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex issues. Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels, from the Operations Leadership to General Winery Workers. Project Management: Experience in managing HR projects and initiatives, with a focus on continuous improvement.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS   Possess the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Working environment may be both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to related equipment and noise levels.   COMPENSATION   Hiring Salary Range Posted: $115,400 - $125,000.
