About Udhyam:

Udhyam Learning Foundation (Udhyam) is on a mission towards Making Bharat Entrepreneurial. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful way to channelize an individual’s potential. Entrepreneurship enables agency and allows an individual to work on their strengths while creating value for the world.

Our programs:

• Udhyam Shiksha works on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among the youth and enabling them to achieve their potential, having impacted ~24,00,000 learners across 12 Indian states.

• Udhyam Vyapaar focuses on nano businesses in India, and solving large problems faced by them, at scale; having already enabled up to a 27% income uplift for 5000+ entrepreneurs.

The goal for Udhyam is to build a thriving and supportive ecosystem, where every individual feels empowered to define their own path.

About Tech Department: 
Anything and everything technology across Udhyam - that defines the role of the technology team. The team helps all the project teams with technology solutions that include but not limited to chatbots, dashboards, web applications, chatbot backend validations, internal process automations, and managing the cloud infrastructure.

The goal and objective of the team is to help Shiksha and Vyapaar scale their solutions using technology, bring AI based tech innovations to improve efficiency of operations and to introduce newer ways of doing things, standardise tools across the organisation and reduce repetitive work, identify and foster tech partners who we can collaborate with.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Help create forms and web/mobile apps required for field data collection

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver chat flows according to project timelines

• Work on API integrations to enhance forms/apps functionality

Skills, Experience and Mindsets:

• Experience: 0-1yr

• Strong fundamentals on programming coupled with good problem solving skills

• Good knowledge in database concepts - schema design, query design, performance

• Good knowledge in web application design concepts

• Fast learner with an open mind to learn anything new and be able to deliver solutions

• Able to understand the instructions/requirements clearly and question where necessary

• Produces high quality, bug free code and delivers on time

• Has good oral and written communication skills and be able to express ideas in a clear and concise way

• Able to work independently once the instruction is given and looks for little or no guidance
