In this role, the Financial Analyst will report directly to the Regional Finance Manager and play a key role in supporting finance functions across the West Region. This is a highly collaborative position that partners closely with the regional finance team, operations, and back-office functions to support the monthly close cycle, financial reporting, and ongoing analysis of regional results. The successful candidate is detail-oriented and analytical, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and eager to build broad exposure across corporate finance and accounting in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation, working closely with the finance team to meet established deadlines.
  • Review and analyze general ledger activity, researching variances and reconciling items and preparing adjusting entries as needed to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial results.
  • Compile and maintain supporting schedules and financial tracking tools, ensuring underlying data and documentation are complete, current, and audit-ready.
  • Perform recurring analysis of key cost drivers and operating metrics, identifying trends, variances, and outliers and escalating items that warrant further review.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reporting packages, and participate in financial review meetings with operations to help research and resolve open items.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for finance-related inquiries from the field, coordinating follow-up and driving items to timely resolution, particularly during the close cycle.
  • Collaborate with the finance team, operations, and back-office functions to gather information, clarify discrepancies, and support accurate and timely reporting across the region.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes, reporting tools, and documentation standards, bringing forward suggestions to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses, reporting, and special projects in support of the Regional Finance Manager and broader finance team as required.

  • Business Acumen – Builds a working understanding of the business and how the region generates revenue; understands how day-to-day work connects to broader financial results.
  • Technical Skills – Builds and maintains proficiency with financial systems and Excel; stays open to learning new tools and processes and shares tips and improvements with the team.
  • Ethics – Works with integrity; keeps commitments; treats others with respect; accepts responsibility for own work.
  • Organizational Support – Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative and reporting tasks accurately and on time.
  • Planning/Organizing – Manages multiple deadlines and priorities, particularly during the monthly close cycle; works independently on assigned tasks.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and 1–3 years of relevant financial or accounting experience (internship experience considered).
  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced preferred), Word, and PowerPoint. Ability to navigate multiple web-based platforms and various computer programs.
  • Knowledge of and/or prior experience with Sage Intacct, ADP Vantage, Bill.com, and Kronos preferred, but not required.
