At Unify Consulting, Account Directors play a critical role in growing strategic client partnerships, expanding key accounts, and supporting high-performing consultants. This role sits at the intersection of account leadership, business development, and consulting, offering the opportunity to influence client strategy, uncover new opportunities, and strengthen long-term partnerships.

As an Account Director, you'll work closely with clients, consultants, and firm leadership to drive account growth while fostering an exceptional experience for both clients and consultants.   • Contribute to account growth strategy and long-term relationship planning
  • Partner with Business Development, General Managers, and Solution Specialists to identify and pursue opportunities
  • Lead account operations meetings and provide visibility into account health, performance, and growth opportunities
  • Facilitate account-specific consultant onboarding and engagement success
  • Support and develop account management best practices
  • Equip Account Managers with the tools, insights, and resources needed to strengthen client relationships
  • Coach consultants on relationship-building, networking, and opportunity identification within client organizations
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute strategic initiatives and drive account growth
  • Develop a deep understanding of client priorities, business objectives, and organizational dynamics
  • Identify risks, challenges, and growth opportunities across assigned accounts
  • Create and maintain account plans focused on relationship growth, delivery excellence, and business expansion
  • Translate client needs into strategic solutions by partnering with account teams and subject matter experts
  • Build awareness of key stakeholders, decision-makers, and evolving client needs
  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and consulting teams
  • Meet regularly with consultants to foster engagement, gather feedback, and support career development
  • Create opportunities for community-building through account events, team gatherings, and networking opportunities
  • Serve as a key connection point between client teams, consultants, and Unify leadership
    • Maintain excellence in client delivery while serving in a client-facing consulting capacity
    • Balance delivery responsibilities with account leadership and growth objectives
    • Champion both consultant satisfaction and client success to drive long-term account health
      
    • 7+ years of experience in account management, client services, consulting, business development, or a related client-facing role
    • Proven success growing strategic client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
    • Demonstrated leadership experience, including mentoring teams and influencing stakeholders
    • Strong executive presence with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
    • Experience navigating complex organizations and working with cross-functional teams
    • Strong business acumen and ability to connect client challenges with practical solutions
    • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving abilities
    • Understanding of consultative selling, professional services, or solution-based delivery models
    • Ability to balance relationship management, strategic thinking, and operational execution in a fast-paced environment
