You’re a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment. At Unispace, you’ll play a key role in supporting the financial management of our design and construction projects. By collaborating across teams and maintaining accurate project records, you’ll help ensure successful financial outcomes while developing your expertise in project accounting.

 

  • Support the Senior Project Accountant in the day-to-day financial management of active projects.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting project billings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Track and maintain project costs, including vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense allocations.
  • Help monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables in coordination with the finance team.
  • Assist with subcontractor compliance documentation and ensure all financial documentation is up to date.
  • Contribute to monthly financial reviews and reporting, providing accurate data entry and support for reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with project managers and delivery teams to gather necessary billing and compliance documentation.
  • Support the preparation of sales tax filings and other required submissions.
  • Assist in project close-out tasks, including cost review, reconciliations, and final reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital records of project financials.
  • Participate in ad hoc financial tasks and reporting as needed by the finance or project teams.

 

  • Timely and accurate completion of billing, data entry, and financial documentation.
  • Strong collaboration with project and accounting teams, contributing to smooth project execution.
  • Attention to detail in recording and reporting costs and compliance requirements.
  • Contribution to improved accuracy in monthly project financials.
  • Responsiveness and reliability in supporting accounting operations and resolving queries.

 

  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with exposure to project-based work.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas and data analysis tools like Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems; experience in construction or design industries is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities under supervision.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to obtain notary certification if required.
