We’re in search of an entry-level Legal Assistant to join this team and help maintain the standard of excellence for which we’re known. The Legal Assistant will have an immediate effect on our operations, guiding us toward positive outcomes with comprehensive legal research, document creation, and database maintenance. The Legal Assistant will report directly to the Department Supervisor. You and your team will work in collaboration to ensure that criminal matters within' the department are moving along. As the Legal Assistant, you will have a working knowledge of current legislative, and regulatory guidelines, and experience in Criminal Defense. • →1+ years of Criminal Defense experience
• →Professional work history with transferrable skills.
• →Bilingual (English/Spanish) with high proficiency required.
• →Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field is preferred but not required.
• →Experience with Case Management Software, or familiarity with computer charting programs.
