The University of Connecticut is accepting applications and nominations for the full-time position of Assistant Coach/Director of Operations Track and Field/Cross Country.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assisting the coaching staff in planning and organizing the three seasons of a Division I Track and Field/Cross Country program.  Including skill sessions, training sessions, team meetings and overall development of the athletes on the rosters. In addition to coaching duties, this position will assist with administrative responsibilities with the program including team travel, working within TeamWorks, marketing, home meet management, as well as other duties assigned by Head Coach.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 1-4 years undergraduate college playing experience.
  • Master’s Degree in a Sport Management program.
  • 1 year working within a Division 1 program.
  • Demonstrates a coaching philosophy consistent with the Head Coach and the Division of Athletics and it Track and Field/Cross Country program.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
