Responsibilities
~1 min readThe responsibilities include: assisting the Head Softball coach in planning and organizing all phases of a Division I softball program, including skill development of pitchers and catchers; coordination of on and off campus recruiting efforts; overseeing camps and clinics; coordinating scouting of opponents; ability to throw batting practice; and assisting with administrative responsibilities with the program including team travel, marketing, program operations, game management, and other duties as assigned by the Head Softball Coach.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree.
- Three years collegiate playing experience.
- One-year collegiate coaching experience (within the past six years) working specifically with hitters and infielders.
- Basic film, editing and analytical abilities.
- Master’s degree.
- 2-4 years of experience at the power 4 level (playing or coaching), experience in retaining athletes based on their Name, Image and Likeness.
- Student-athlete development philosophies consistent with that of the Division of Athletics and its softball program.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
