About the Role

The Administration Officer, Program Delivery & Assessment, is an integral part of the Tasmanian School of Medicine’s Administration Team and will work under the general direction of the Hobart Clinical School Team Leader, at the Royal Hobart Hospital within the Tasmanian School of Medicine. The key purpose of the position is to provide seamless administrative support to a range of stakeholders with a focus on efficient, lean and responsive advice and guidance to support the operations of the School’s Learning and Teaching programs and events.

Responsibilities

  • Complete a broad range of administrative duties to assist in the delivery of all programs.
  • Participate as part of a high performing team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Consult with and provide accurate advice to academic staff and students on course-related information, university policies and procedures.
  • Participate in relevant meetings, committees and working parties.­
  • Demonstrated administrative skills including good organisation and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent customer service with experience in focusing on and understanding client needs.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively and professionally.
  • High level organisation skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to cope with changing work methods and working environment.

Appointment to this role will be at HEO 4 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $91,488 comprising base salary within the range of $73,814 to $78,195 plus 17% superannuation.
