About the Role
~1 min readJoin our Professional Experience team and play a key role in supporting placement programs across Education, Social Sciences, Creative Arts and Media, and Law. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external placement providers, you will coordinate complex professional experience placements and ensure students have a positive and seamless placement experience.
This diverse role involves managing compliance requirements, supporting student placement activities, interpreting policies and procedures, resolving complex student matters, preparing reports and data, and contributing to continuous process improvement. You will provide high-level advice and guidance to staff, students and external partners while ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a highly organised professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex administrative environment.
Responsibilities

- →Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, privacy, and policy requirements, maintaining high standards of governance and quality across professional experience programs.
- →Manage complex student and stakeholder enquiries and escalations, providing professional support while building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
- →Maintain accurate student placement records and data, using placement management systems to support reporting, compliance, and informed decision-making.
- →Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, reviewing and enhancing processes, procedures, and documentation to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a busy environment.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to develop effective partnerships with students, staff, and external organisations.
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide advice, negotiate outcomes, and communicate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and initiative, with the ability to prioritise work, assess situations, and identify practical solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing positively to shared goals while supporting colleagues and stakeholders.
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 5 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $105,665 (pro-rata) comprising base salary within the range of $80,869 to $90,312 (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
