We are looking for a full-time Interior Design Consultant to join our talented and dedicated team, based at our brand new Gallery in Collins Square with occasional work at our St Kilda Road Gallery.  In this role, your primary focus will be to provide comprehensive and outstanding support and assistance to our clients through the selection process for their new home in a timely and professional manner. Experience in residential construction in the KDRB space is preferred.

Some responsibilities of this role include:

• Plan and prepare for scheduled appointments ensuring that all documentation to conduct the consultation are correct and in place
• Provide clients with suggestions, guidance and advice on selecting internal and external colour schemes, appliances and fittings within our ranges
• Provide clients advice on all products and upgrades
• Complete all documentation and detailed variations required to facilitate the customers colour and material selections within the set timelines
• Working collaboratively with sales and other relevant departments
• Stay up to date on new, emerging market trends and product knowledge

To be successful in this highly rewarding role, you will have a qualification in Interior Design and Decoration or related discipline. Experience in a colour consulting role, ideally within the residential KDRB space with the ability to read and interpret floor plans is preferred.

Don't get us wrong, this can be a demanding and fast-paced role at times where solid administrative skills can be just as important as creativity, so the ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are essential. You will be an exceptional communicator and able to build rapport with a diverse client group. Flexible work habits and the ability to positively contribute to a dynamic team to achieve set targets and KPIs is also crucial.
