About Untiedt’s Vegetable Farm

Untiedt's is a family-owned business operating seasonal greenhouses and vegetable stands throughout the Twin Cities. We take great pride in providing top-notch customer service and high-quality, locally grown plants and produce. We are seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented Retail Sales Associates to join our team for the 2026 season. This is a fast-paced and exciting opportunity to work with beautiful products and interact with the best customers in a fun, outdoor environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Customer Excellence: Greet customers warmly, assist them in selecting plants and produce, answer questions, and help carry/load purchases into vehicles.
• Sales Operations: Accurately process cash, check, credit card, and gift card transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Product Care & Merchandising: Set up daily produce displays, update signage and pricing, and care for plants (watering, fertilizing, and deadheading) to ensure everything looks its best.
• Inventory Management: Assist in safely unloading trucks from our farm and keep produce fully stocked throughout the day.
• Site Maintenance: Clean, sweep, and organize the sales space to provide a neat, professional, and safe shopping area.
• Brand Representation: Consistently represent Untiedt’s in a positive and professional manner as the face of our farm.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the entire shift. Must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage customers in a positive manner.
• Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work through September.
• Environment: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather elements.

Preferred Skills:

• Self-Starter: Highly motivated with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge: An interest in local agriculture, gardening, or bedding plants is a plus.
• Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to an ever-changing, fast-paced work environment.
