Urschel, a 100% employee-owned company, is seeking a Pricing & Financial Analyst to join our Supply Chain Management team. Reporting to the Global Pricing Strategist & ERP Product Owner, the Pricing & Financial Analyst is responsible for providing pricing analysis, financial modeling, reporting, and data management that support informed business decisions and profitability initiatives. This position plays a key role in maintaining pricing accuracy, analyzing business performance, and supporting strategic growth through data-driven insights. This position is not remote and will be required to report daily to the Corporate Headquarters in Chesterton, Indiana.
Urschel employee-owners design and manufacture industrial cutting equipment for food processing and allied industries around the world from our global headquarters located in Chesterton, Indiana, U.S.A. Consumers purchase goods manufactured on Urschel cutting equipment on a daily basis. Advanced manufacturing technologies are utilized at our climate controlled, clean, and environmentally conscious facility.
What We Offer
~1 min read- Maintain pricing data integrity and accuracy within business systems to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Develop financial models and perform pricing, margin, and profitability analyses to support business decision-making.
- Prepare and analyze reports that evaluate product, customer, and business performance, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support customer quotations and pricing activities through timely and accurate analysis and recommendations.
- Establish and maintain pricing documentation, governance practices, and standardized processes to promote consistency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and other departments to provide analytical support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related analytical field. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial analysis, business analytics, pricing, procurement, or a related analytical role. Experience working with bills of material, ERP systems (Epicor preferred), and large data sets is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage multiple priorities with limited day-to-day direction. Experience with reporting and business intelligence tools is a plus.
