What You Need To Succeed: Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required. Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

~1 min read- →Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment.
- →Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- →Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
- →Must have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems.
- →Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
- →Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications.
- →May direct the work of others in the lower classifications.
- →Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures.
- →Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement.
- →Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions.
- →Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
- →Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
- →Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
- →Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

- Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
- Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
- Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
