Electro Mechanical Technician 2 - 2nd Shift - $5k Sign On Bonus

2nd Shift M-Th 3pm-1am

 

• →Design minor electrical circuits and to test and troubleshoot electrical, PLC and electronic circuits used for the control of machines and equipment. 
• →Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic circuits. 
• →Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints. 
• →Must have knowledge of electrical power, and water distribution systems. 
• →Must perform basic mechanical repairs.
• →Must be able to perform the work of the lower-class identifications. 
• →May direct the work of others in the lower classifications. 
• →Must dismantle electrical machinery and replace defective electrical or mechanical parts such as brushes and armatures. 
• →Must install and monitor performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement. 
• →Interpret blueprints, work from sketches or verbal instructions. 
• →Do lay outs, assembles, installs, tests, repairs, and adjust electrical fixtures, apparatus, equipment, wiring, and new services to include panels, breakers, and conduit.
• →Must mount motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures into position and complete circuits according to diagram specifications.
• →Do repairs, installs, replaces and test electrical circuits, and equipment using appropriate tools and testing instruments.
• →Perform a variety of work as directed by the Group Leader.

• Two-year Associate degree and 2-4 years work experience required.
• Ability to utilize a computer to search for parts and enter work into a CMMS.

• Standing long period, sitting, manual dexterity, stooping, bending
• Passing a pre-employment physical including a baseline test of lifting a minimum of 50 pounds
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check
