Nourish is on a mission to improve people’s health by making it easy to eat well. Nutrition-related chronic disease is the largest and most overlooked crisis in the world. Food can be medicine: working with a Registered Dietitian is one of the most effective interventions available, but <1% of eligible Americans use their covered benefits.

Nourish is building an AI-native, patient-friendly healthcare system centered on nutrition that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and helps people live healthier, longer lives. We launched three years ago, are live in all 50 states, and already have thousands of dietitians and hundreds of thousands of patients on the platform.

We are growing quickly, have partnered with national health insurance companies and provider groups, and have raised $115M from top-tier VCs including JP Morgan Growth Equity, Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, Y Combinator, Maverick Ventures, Box Group, Atomico, G Squared, and Pinegrove Venture Partners. Our angel investors include world-class healthcare founders from Oscar, Rightway Health, Headway, Spring Health, and Alto Pharmacy, as well as soccer star Alex Morgan and the founders from Olipop and Notion.

About the Role

~1 min read

As the Workplace Experience Associate at Nourish, you'll be the person who makes the NYC office run — and the person who makes it a place people genuinely want to be. With over 100 employees in New York and an office expansion underway, this is a high-impact, high-visibility role at an important moment in the company's growth.

You'll own the full NYC office experience end-to-end: managing facilities, vendors, and budget; coordinating food, supplies, and in-office onboarding; and building the culture programming and team events that make Nourish's office feel distinct. The office reflects the quality of your work, and the team will feel it every day.

Beyond operations, you'll be a cultural anchor for the NYC team. Every new hire's first impression, every team celebration, and every day-to-day interaction with the physical workspace runs through you. You'll work closely with People, Finance, and leadership, and you'll have the autonomy to build and improve programs.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in NYC (5 days/week). Nourish's office is located in the heart of Gramercy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point of contact for all workplace needs, managing facilities, vendor relationships, workspace setup, supplies, and packages end-to-end
  • Own the food and snack program from ordering to replenishment, ensuring the kitchen is always stocked and the program reflects what the team actually wants
  • Ensure every in-office new hire has a seamless, welcoming experience from day one: desk set up, access ready, office tour completed, and a warm welcome that makes people feel at home before they've had their first meeting
  • Plan and execute team events, celebrations, and culture-building activities that are genuinely engaging and reinforce a positive office culture
  • Serve as the go-to problem solver for workplace challenges, proactively identifying and implementing operational improvements
  •  You thrive in fast-paced environments and are energized by juggling multiple priorities within a dynamic, high-growth startup
  • You're exceptionally organized and have a knack for creating order out of chaos — managing details, anticipating gaps, and keeping operations running smoothly without being asked
  • You're a proactive problem solver who anticipates needs and takes initiative before issues surface
  • You're passionate about creating a workplace culture where people feel supported, energized, and genuinely excited to come in
  • You're adaptable, embrace change, and can pivot quickly without losing focus
  • You're skilled at building trust and maintaining clear, warm communication with stakeholders at all levels
  • You have a hospitality mindset — you notice the details others miss, and you care about the quality of the experience whether it's a fully stocked kitchen, a seamless onboarding day, or a team event that people are still talking about the next week
  • You're based in NYC and genuinely excited to be in the office most days of the week. This role requires someone who thrives in an in-person environment.
  • You bring a solutions-oriented, get-it-done mindset. You run through walls when you need to and find creative ways to solve problems.
  • You're genuinely people-oriented with high EQ. You take pride in how the office feels, not just how it runs, and people naturally gravitate toward you.
  • You're excited to do the unglamorous and the fun with equal energy — whether that's coordinating with a vendor or pulling off a team celebration people talk about for months.
  • You're excited to work in a mission-driven startup focused on transforming healthcare by enabling people to live healthier, longer lives
  • Nice to have: experience in office management, workplace ops, or a similar generalist operations role

Please note that you must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this position.
