Survey Field Technician

UTRS Civil and Environmental Engineering is currently seeking a Field Survey Technician to join our team! This position is located at our East Stroudsburg location.

What will you be doing?

This position will be a key member of the Environmental Engineering Team. Duties include:

• Assist survey field crews with collecting survey data on all types of surveys including boundary, topographic and ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys using GPS and robotic total stations.
• Assist Water/Wastewater Operator with daily site visits.
• Assist the design teams as necessary for both private and public civil and environmental engineering projects.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?

This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others
• Basic computer experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software products (Word, Excel, Outlook), a plus.
• Ability to handle weather conditions to work in the field.
• A strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
