About the Role
~1 min readVail Health is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Occupational Health Coordinator to support the health, safety, and well-being of our workforce. In this role, you will coordinate occupational health services for employees across Vail Health, acting as a key point of contact for employee health initiatives. You will play an essential role in integrating available services, supporting compliance, and promoting a safe work environment through new hire screenings, annual health requirements, and ongoing program development.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Develop, implement, and maintain best practice policies and procedures for occupational health programs across Vail Health
- →Participate in organizational committees and task forces to support health, safety, and employee well-being initiatives
- →Independently manage and optimize Employee Health programs with minimal supervision
- →Partner with insurance adjusters to ensure timely workers’ compensation claim reporting and coordination
- →Lead workplace injury investigations and implement prevention strategies and corrective action plans
- →Coordinate return-to-work and modified duty programs in collaboration with leadership and HR partners
- →Administer new hire health screenings and manage ongoing annual surveillance and compliance requirements
- →Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data collection, analysis, and reporting
- →Maintain the OSHA 300 log and ensure regulatory compliance
- →Assess ergonomic risks and support implementation of workplace improvements

Responsibilities
~1 min read- Minimum of five (5) years of clinical nursing experience required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado or a valid compact state required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required for individuals hired after July 1, 2018
