Vast is looking for a Manufacturing Coordinator, Structures reporting to the Production Manager, Structures & Mechanical Assembly, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.

This will be a full-time, non-exempt position located in our Long Beach location.

Responsibilities

→Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the manufacturing shop floor to ensure timely delivery through completion
→Ensure parts are handled in the proper manner to avoid any damages
→Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to ensure parts are moved to outsourcing locations
→Collaborate with engineering, planning and procurement teams to ensure that shortages are flagged ahead of time and delivered by the shop floor need date
→Work closely with manufacturing management to ensure metric goals are met
→Communicate part status and completion dates to customer
→Assist leadership with projects and action items as needed
→Utilize bandsaw to supply raw materials to Machine Shop
→Support manufacturing shop floor with returns to inventory
→Follow up with engineering on open issues blocking RUN completion
→Assist in correcting wrong system data which is driving incorrect MRP signals

2+ Years of handling parts in a manufacturing environment
Strong computer skills
Inventory experience
Experience with MRP/ERP systems

Must be willing to work overtime and or weekends as needed

Manufacturing Coordinator I: $19.30 - $27.40
Manufacturing Coordinator II: $22.15 - $31.45
Senior Manufacturing Coordinator: $28.70 - $40.75

Pay Range: California

$19.30—$40.75 USD
