Vast is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, to support the development of the systems that will be required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations.
This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer acceptance across multiple open roles
- →Partner with hiring managers and stakeholders to define role requirements, interview plans, and hiring timelines
- →Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify and engage top and passive candidates
- →Manage candidate pipelines and drive an efficient and engaging interview process
- →Facilitate interview debriefs and guide hiring teams through candidate evaluation and decision-making
- →Lead offer discussions and help close candidates while maintaining a strong candidate experience
- →Track recruiting metrics, pass through rates, and pipeline health to ensure progress toward hiring goals
- →Ensure consistent recruiting processes and documentation within the ATS
- →Represent Vast’s mission and value proposition to candidates throughout the hiring process
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience managing multiple searches simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder partnership and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates
Nice to Have
~1 min read- We are particularly interested in candidates with recruiting experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Engineering, Avionics, Propulsion, Thermal Controls, Software, GNC, and Structures
- Hardware engineering roles including mechanical, electrical, design, and structural
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Experience using Greenhouse or similar ATS
- Ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and process discipline
- Experience working in high-growth or fast-scaling organizations
