Technical Support Engineer - Industrial Placement (12-months)

• →Troubleshoot and Innovate: Solve complex network, hardware, and software issues for the Verkada platform
• →Be an Expert: Provide customers with best practices for system design and integration
• →Communicate with Impact: Clearly explain technical concepts to customers both verbally and in writing
• →Own the Problem: Take charge of customer issues from start to finish, ensuring a successful resolution
• →Team Up: Collaborate with our Engineering and Product teams to test new products and identify bugs
• →Share Knowledge: Create content for our Knowledge Base to help others
• →Hands-on Projects: Get involved with lab testing and various team projects

• University students seeking a Sandwich year/ Industrial Placement who are working towards a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a related technical discipline: Networking, Telecommunications, Systems Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Cybersecurity
• Coursework with a focus on computer networking, Linux, computer systems, Python or other coding language
• Ability to communicate complex technical matters both orally and in writing
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Industry certifications are a plus: CCNP, CCNA, CCENT, CCDA, CWNP, CWNA, MCSE, CEH, Network+, Security+, A+
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
