Contract Specialist (USN) - Jordan

The Contract Specialist / Operational Contract Support (OCS) Specialist will support the ASG-J Directorate of Logistics Operational Contract Support and Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreement (ACSA) functions. The position will provide continuity and technical support for current and emerging requirements, acquisition package development, market research, contract file documentation, and ACSA execution, management, and reconciliation in an operational Army environment.

• →Support completion, coordination, and routing of current and emerging ASG-J requirements.
• →Support development and construction of acquisition and contract requirement packages.
• →Conduct and document market research in support of acquisition planning and requirements development.
• →Support PCF cabinet construction, organization, maintenance, and continuity.
• →Provide Operational Contract Support (OCS) expertise to ASG-J DOL OCS personnel and supported requiring activities.
• →Support execution, management, tracking, and reconciliation of Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreements (ACSA).
• →Assist requiring activities with requirements development, documentation, and coordination with contracting personnel.
• →Support preparation and review of Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work, acquisition documentation, and other requirements packages as applicable.
• →Track and synchronize contracting requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle and maintain status visibility for Government stakeholders.
• →Review packages for completeness and assist in resolving documentation or coordination gaps before routing.
• →Maintain documentation and continuity for ongoing and emerging requirements during personnel transitions.
• →Coordinate with Government OCS, contracting, logistics, resource management, legal, and requiring-activity personnel as necessary.
• →Support data calls, reports, briefings, and other OCS-related administrative requirements.
• →Perform duties in accordance with applicable DoD, Army, theater, and local policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in business, acquisition, logistics, contracting, supply chain, or a related discipline; relevant military or Government experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.
• Demonstrated experience in Operational Contract Support, contingency contracting, acquisition support, requirements development, or a closely related DoD function.
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in Operational Contract Support, contingency contracting, acquisition support, requirements development, or a closely related DoD function.
• Working knowledge of the DoD acquisition and requirements-development environment.
• Experience preparing, reviewing, coordinating, or routing acquisition requirement packages and supporting documentation.
• Ability to conduct market research and develop clear, supportable acquisition documentation.
• Experience working with military, Government civilian, and contractor stakeholders in an operational environment.
• Strong written communication, analytical, organizational, and records-management skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and applicable installation/system access.
• Ability to meet and sustain all applicable medical, deployment, and theater-entry requirements for Jordan.
• Successful results of preemployment screenings, including federal background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Comply with the company's drug and alcohol policy.

• Army Operational Contract Support experience and completion of training associated with the 3C Additional Skill Identifier (ASI).
• Previous 3C ASI qualification or equivalent demonstrated OCS expertise.
• Experience executing, managing, or reconciling Acquisition and Cross-Servicing Agreements (ACSA).
• Experience with contingency contracting, expeditionary contracting, or acquisition support in an OCONUS environment.
• Experience supporting Army logistics, DOL, OCS Integration Cell, or similar operational organizations.
• Prior experience in CENTCOM, Jordan, or another deployed/OCONUS military environment.
• DAWIA, FAC-C, contracting, acquisition, or related professional training/certification, where applicable.

ASG-J has not yet specified a formal clearance level or certification baseline for this position. Because the validated scope includes NIPR/SIPR and C2 support, initial recruiting should target candidates who currently possess, or are eligible to obtain and maintain, at least a Secret clearance and who can satisfy applicable DoD cybersecurity workforce requirements. Final clearance, certification, privileged-access, and system-access requirements will be aligned to the executed contract modification.

This position is anticipated to be full-time and on-site in Jordan, Monday through Friday, eight hours per day. The employee must satisfy applicable U.S. Government, host-nation, installation-access, medical, credentialing, deployment, and theater-entry requirements associated with performance in Jordan.
