Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Monitor and evaluate manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- →Conduct inspections, audits, and tests of components
- →Analyze and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
- →Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and testing.
- →Review product designs, specifications, and production methods to ensure quality standards are integrated from the beginning. Work with engineering and production teams to optimize production methods and quality standards.
- →Conduct root cause analysis of quality problems and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- →Collaborate with clients and external partners to ensure product quality and resolve quality concerns promptly.
- →Supervise and mentor quality technicians, providing guidance on testing, inspections, and reporting.
- →Develop and deliver training programs to educate production staff and quality technicians on quality standards and best practices.
- →Maintain detailed records of inspections, tests, and audits to ensure traceability and compliance with industry standards.
- →Prepare and present quality reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and improvement initiatives.
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally within the HVAC, thermal systems, or assembly component industries.
- Experience in supervising quality technicians and leading quality improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ASQ certifications, and other relevant industry standards.
- Experience with statistical analysis, process control techniques, and root cause analysis methods
- The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams.
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols.
- The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer.
- Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits.
- Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting.
- Travel to different office or plants locations, client sites, or conferences may be necessary.
