Are you a Food & Beverage Leader with a passion for operational strategy, commercial performance and guest engagement? Village Cinemas is seeking a dynamic and commercially minded General Manager, Food & Beverage to lead the strategic direction, operational performance and guest experience outcomes of our Food & Beverage portfolio.  This senior leadership role is accountable for driving commercial growth, elevating product and service execution, and shaping the future of Food & Beverage across our national cinema circuit.

In this role you’ll lead the enterprise wide Food & Beverage Strategy at Australia’s longest-running, locally owned and operated cinema chain. This role is your opportunity to

• Lead a dynamic Food & Beverage with influence in a fast paced environment
• Shape operational outcomes that directly impacts guests and frontline teams
• Leverage operational Food, Beverage and Merchandise  innovation and insights to enhance guest experiences, increase and maximizes commercial performance.
• Partner with senior leaders across Operations, Marketing, Finance and Commercial functions
   

As General Manager of Food & Beverage, Your key responsibilities will include:

• Analyse market trends and emerging consumer behaviors to identify strategic opportunities across all Village Entertainment Food & Beverage concepts
• Lead the development of the long term strategic direction for the Food & Beverage department, ensuring alignment with the broader Village Entertainment strategy
• Oversee operational capex related to Food & Beverage equipment procurement, ensuring investment decisions align with strategic and financial priorities.
• Ensure customer experience remains central to the development of all Food & Beverage products, services and initiatives.
   

• Deep understanding of Food & Beverage operations
• Strong commercial and financial literacy
• Extensive senior leadership experience within Food & Beverage, hospitality, entertainment, retail or a related multi site operational environment.
• Experience leading large, diverse teams and building organisational capability through coaching, development and succession planning.
• Successful history of managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and driving commercial outcomes.
• Experience overseeing product development, category management and operational execution across multiple locations.
• Demonstrated success in leading major business projects, change initiatives or transformation programs.
